Meals on Wheels of Wake County

Allows our seniors in Wake County to maintain their dignity and independence and remain in their homes. When a volunteer delivers a meal to a homebound recipient, we are not only providing a meal, but we are also providing a visit and a check up.

The Carying Place

The Carying Place teaches homeless, working families with children life skills for attaining independent living while providing short-term housing and support services to address their individual needs.

Friends of Wake County Guardian ad Litem

The Friends of the Wake County Guardian ad Litem Program provides enrichment opportunity funds and needed items for impoverished children including ones in foster care, out-of-home kinship placements, families working hard to break the cycle of poverty and youth who have aged out of foster care.

Families Moving Forward

Families Moving Forward offers a temporary home to families with children in the crisis of homelessness. Working together, we create a path to stability and self-sufficiency through personalized services and ongoing community support. We provide a temporary home for up to 21 families at a time.
