The Event Manager oversees the success of 4 quarterly meetings and 2-3 social events per year. This is a great role for someone who comfortable leading a team and is adept at managing and communicating across multiple committees to ensure the success of our local events. Responsibilities include: securing event space, event menu, event decor as well as fine-tuning all event processes such as check collection, voting, ballot collection, counting, raffle/door prizes, name badges/collection and AV.  The Event Manager is extremely detail- oriented and communicates well with various teams such as Member Relations/Communications, Marketing, Treasurer, and President.  In addition to the 4 quarterly meetings, the Event Manager is responsible for the success of the Social events in between meetings, which serve as a means to meet new members, retain members and at times, offer a fundraising component.
