As president-elect, you support the president and your time is used wisely through observing, participating, and learning all that you can about the group and its members, so you’ll be ready to serve as president. Responsibilities include:

  • Presides at meetings in the absence of the president
  • Works with president to plan the monthly leadership meetings
  • Provides data on most recent quarterly events to allow the Event Manager to benefit from past experience and suggestions for improvement
  • Provides timely and interesting advance information for social media and member communications
  • Provides or coordinates information on forthcoming quarterly events to the leadership team
  • Provides information on upcoming leadership meetings to secretary for inclusion in meeting
  • Ensures strong leadership succession by identifying and recruiting new committee leaders and members
