The treasurer is in control of the group’s finances, its group donation collection (online and in-person) and disbursement. Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of event check collection process, ensuring fair and accurate accounting of member donations, both in-person and online
- Timely distribution of member checks to quarterly award recipient complete with summary reports to keep on record
- Oversight of the Donation Tracker committee to ensure that we maximize the group donation and update member database accordingly
- Liaison with One Mission Fundraising partner, managing the monthly statements as it relates to member donations and product sales (income)
- Completes and reports financial statements at each leadership meeting to ensure an up to date accounting of income and expenses
- Assists the president in preparing any budgets and financial controls and ensures that adequate controls are maintained
