The Charity Relations Director builds and maintains relationships with local nonprofits, while ensuring the criteria is met for all nominated organizations prior to our quarterly random selections. Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for verifying nominated charities and ensuring verification is current prior to inviting any nonprofit to present
- Regularly update web team on any newly nominated nonprofits who should be listed on our website
- Responsible for notifying selected charities of their selection and inviting the 3 chosen to present to our members
- Ask the Award Recipient (in writing) for a quote (to be used in press releases)
- Once a next quarter meeting date is scheduled, notify last quarter award recipient so they can plan their presentation, come back and update group
- One month after the event, send each of the 3 presenters a link to Presenter Survey. Print all responses as a PDF and file
